Matn is built with privacy as a core principle. We believe your learning journey is personal, and we have no interest in tracking, analyzing, or monetizing your data.

What We Don't Collect

No analytics or tracking scripts
No cookies (this website doesn't use any)
No third-party advertising networks
No user accounts or login systems (on this website)

Waitlist

If you join our launch waitlist, we collect your email address and platform preference (iOS, Android, or both). This data is stored in Cloudflare KV, a key-value store operated by Cloudflare, Inc.

We use your email only to notify you when Matn launches on your chosen platform
We do not share your email with any third party
Waitlist data will be deleted after the app launches and notifications are sent
You can request deletion of your waitlist entry at any time by emailing [email protected]

How the App Works

The Matn mobile app keeps core study data on your device so you can read, listen, and review offline:

Downloaded poems and audio files are cached on your device for offline access
Your progress, review history, and settings are stored locally using on-device storage
Optional sign-in and sync features use Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Storage to keep selected data available across devices
Crash reports and performance diagnostics may be sent to Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance on supported mobile platforms so we can fix bugs and improve reliability

Website Privacy

This website (matn.dev) is a static site with minimal server-side processing. Your language and theme preferences are saved in your browser's local storage for convenience, but this data never leaves your device. The waitlist form sends data to a Cloudflare Worker as described above.

Your Choices

You stay in control of what leaves your device:

Offline use remains available even if you never sign in
Cloud-backed features are optional and depend on the choices you make in the app
You can contact us at any time if you need help with account, sync, or data-deletion questions
